November 2011
Arild Andersen and the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra played the Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of the London Jazz Festival's celebration of the work of the ECM record label. A tight, lyrical ensemble. Images from the sound check / rehearsal can be found at Arild Andersen and the SNJO.
October 2011

2011 March
A bit of a break following a bike accident in November - great to be covering Ralph Towner and Paolo Fresu on my first outing. Photos can be seen at Towner & Fresu at the Purcell Room.

April 2010

2010 March
A groundbreaking series of concerts curated by Serious took place at King's Place, London in March 2010. It featured the contrasting sounds of four leading woodwind players from different corners of the continent – saxophonists John Surman and Andy Sheppard from the UK, Italian clarinettist Gianluigi Trovesi and Frenchman Louis Sclavis. 2010 - March
A concert of new music by Grup Instrumental de Valencia at King's Place, London and curated by The Integra Project (http://www.integralive.org/) - an impressive mix of virtuouso performances and electronica, with a new piece by Tansy Davies commissioned by the Integra project. 2010 - January
Jan Garbarek Group - The Jan Garbarek Group played the Barbican in London on January 30 2010. A great outing for the band, with new players, Trilok Gurtu on percussion and Yuri Daniel on bass, alongside the long established Rainer Brüninghaus on keyboards.
