Guardian Weekly "Word search" column
I have been writing a regular column for the Guardian Weekly since October 2004. In it I use simple corpus tools to discuss how we use words in specific contexts - and how patterns of use emerge when they are seen from a corpus linguistic perspective. I will be adding a collection of articles to this site in the coming weeks, along with supplementary wordlists which might interest teachers and students. If you would like to use the wordlists from the different articles in the series, I am building a set of these for you to use with your students.
